Performances and conferences
From the earliest performances to the present day, the parks, hotels and villas of Nervi have hosted an extraordinary cultural adventure. The International Ballet Festival brought some of the world’s leading companies to Nervi, including the Bolshoi Theatre, the Grand Ballet du Marquis de Cuevas, the Royal Ballet, Maurice Béjart’s Ballet du XXe Siècle, London Festival Ballet and American Ballet Theatre. Its celebrated artists included Alicia Markova, Carla Fracci, Rudolf Nureyev and Margot Fonteyn.
