Pro Nervi is founded, a society aimed at the tourist development of Nervi. In November 1894, among others, the following arrived: Don Marco Sala, a Milanese nobleman, Count Carl Bathyany from Hungary, the Austrian Consul General C. de Scherzer and family, His Excellency Count Könisegg of Wurtemberg, Count von der Goltz, envoy of the Kaiser, Countess Von der Goltz, the young Baroness Von Massenbach, the Russian General Jwatscnheko, other guests from Riga, London, Milan, The Hague, Kiev, Rotterdam, Vienna, Vilna, Paris, Saint Petersburg, Aulendorf, Stuttgart, Spezia, Hamburg, Berlin, Wiesbaden and other localities in Russia, England and Germany. The Hotel Eden assured its guests: Direct passage through the garden to the seaside promenade, tennis courts, transport service (omnibus) to the station, lifts, orchestra every Monday and Friday evening, large lounges at the disposal of guests.
