The Battle of the Flowers in Nervi during the Carnival was one of the most anticipated events, in which both the large community of foreign visitors and the local population took part with great enthusiasm. A large crowd also flocked from the nearby city of Genoa to watch the parade of floats along Viale Vittorio Emanuele (today Viale delle Palme). As always, the organization of the festival was handled by the Pronervi.
