• The orchestra of the Società Pro Nervi (conducted by Maestro G.B. Campolmi) plays at the Marina every day at 2:30 PM • March 1901 - Despite the cold weather preventing the arrival of some floats from Genoa, the traditional Corso Mascherato is held as usual. The jury is composed of Charles Fayod, G. Theus, Cav. Lanchini, and photographer A. Mola. The winners are announced from a balcony of the Hotel Nervi. First prize goes to the float "Carrozza dei Lord", second to "Ai bagni sulla Rotonda" and "Il Ciarlatano". Third prize to "Fabbrica Chiodi", "Pierrots", and "Fungo". March 1901 - A grand charity ball at the "Grand Hotel" with a very rich buffet. Dancing begins at 10 PM and closes as scheduled at five with a wild quadrille. Many foreigners from the main hotels and boarding houses are joined by many representatives of the Nervi community. The toilettes of the charming ladies present are splendid. • March 3, 1901 - The humorous exhibition of the "Indisposizione Artistica" opens • April 5, 1901 - Don Marco Sala, a Milanese composer and appreciated benefactor of Nervi, dies
